Connect a ticket printer

Kiosks print tickets over Bluetooth. Two families of printers are supported:

• Epson TM-series (MFi), the recommended, receipt-grade option on iPad, connected through Epson's accessory protocol. Also supported on Android kiosks.
• Generic thermal printers, standard Bluetooth thermal printers for lighter-duty use.

Pairing

1. Power the printer and put it in pairing mode.
2. Pair it with the iPad in iOS Settings → Bluetooth (Epson models appear as accessories).
3. In the kiosk app's printer settings, select the printer and print a test ticket.

If printing stops

• Check paper first, it's paper more often than it's software.
• Toggle the printer off/on; the kiosk reconnects automatically.
• Confirm the printer still shows as paired in iOS Bluetooth settings.
