Issue and manage tickets

5 min read Updated July 2026

Tickets can be born in three places: a visitor at the kiosk, staff in the console, or an agent at the Agent Portal.

From the kiosk

The visitor picks a service (and language), the ticket prints, and they join the queue. Number series reset daily on the branch's timezone.

From the console

Use Add ticket when staff issue on someone's behalf, walk-ups at a reception desk, phone bookings, accessibility cases.

Working a ticket

  • Transfer a ticket to another service or station when the visitor is in the wrong line.
  • Add notes that follow the ticket, so the next agent has context.
  • Reorder within a queue when priority demands it (permission-gated).

Every action is stamped into the ticket's log, which is what powers your wait/serve-time reports later.
