Kiosk shows offline, a 2-minute fix list

4 min read Updated July 2026

Kiosks are built to survive shaky networks, they recover on their own once connectivity returns. When one says offline, walk this list top to bottom:

  1. Is it just this kiosk? If other devices on the same Wi-Fi are also down, it's the network, not the kiosk.
  2. Check the iPad's Wi-Fi, Settings → Wi-Fi, confirm it's on the right network with a working connection.
  3. Satellite links: brief drops are normal (weather, obstructions); the kiosk reconnects automatically when the link returns.
  4. Force-quit and relaunch the app if the network is fine but the kiosk still sulks.
  5. Re-check pairing, if the device was removed in the console (Kiosk → Devices), pair it again with a fresh Device ID and PIN.

Still stuck? Contact support with the branch name and roughly when it went offline, the device's last-seen time in the console helps us pinpoint it fast.
