Set up your InQueue workspace

6 min read Updated July 28, 2026

Your workspace is your organisation's home on InQueue, it lives at yourworkspace.inqueue.com.co and everything (kiosks, displays, agents, reports) hangs off it. A first setup takes about fifteen minutes.

1. Sign in to your console

Use the sign-in link from your welcome email. Your console address is your workspace address, bookmark it on the machines your team will use.

2. Confirm your company profile

Under Settings → Company, check the company name, logo and contact details. These appear on printed tickets, display boards and the emails InQueue sends on your behalf.

3. Set your location and timezone

Open Settings → Location and edit your first branch. The timezone matters more than it looks: it drives daily ticket-number resets, report day-bucketing and operating hours. Choose the zone the branch physically sits in.

4. Create your services

Services are the reasons people visit, "Driver's Licence Renewal", "New Account", "General Enquiry". Each service gets a ticket prefix and can carry its own SLA target.

5. Add stations

Stations are the physical serving points (windows, desks, stations). Create one per serving position and assign the services each station can handle.

6. Invite your team

Add agents and managers under Settings → Users, see Add your team. After that, pair a kiosk and a display and you're live.

Tip: do the first end-to-end run yourself, print a ticket at the kiosk, call it from the Agent Portal, watch it on the display. Five minutes, and you'll understand the whole flow.
